Reengineered a complex, mission-critical health care software system (Oncology Patient Information System - OPIS), at a health care facility within the largest integrated academic health district in Atlantic Canada, from an Oracle Forms v3.0 application to an Oracle Forms v4.5 application. Outcome enabled less costly, more efficient maintenance options while offering the oncology services department greater scalability benefits to support direct patient care and disease registry perspectives. |

Redesigned a web site using Homesite, Dreamweaver, HTML and PHP for an out-of-province client which resulted in client being rated #1 in their industry; an increase in client profile nationally and internationally; and within the first six months, the client's sales increased from $400 thousand to $2.0 million and by the end of one year increased to $1.0 billion. |

Dean has been in the Information Technology field since 1986. He is proficient in Oracle Relational Database Management Systems

Dean also has advanced level SQL, PL/SQL and SQL*PLUS programming skills, a working knowledge of Oracle Developer Suite 10g
( Forms 9i / 10 g and Reports 9i / 10g), SQL*Net, SQL Loader, SQL Developer, TOAD, MySQL, PuTTY, WinSCP, UltraEdit-32, PFE, as well as,
Windows and UNIX (AIX/HP/Solaris) platforms from an application development perspective. He is well versed in software application adaptation,
